By Vertue of my Office, these are in his Majesty's Name to charge
and require you, that on sight hereof you summon and warn
twenty-four able and sufficient Men of your Liberty, personally to
be and appear before me, on Thursday the 17th Day
of October
by Five of the Clock in the After noon of
the same Day, at the House of Mr. Aaron Peever< no role >

by the Sign of the Brown Bear at the Horse Ferry
situate in the Parish of St. John the Evangelist
within
the Liberty of Westminster
then and there to do and execute all such Things as shall be given them
in charge, on the behalf of our Sovereign Lord the King's Majesty,
touching the Death of a Man Unknown
there lying dead; and for your so doing this shall be your Warrant. Given
under My Hand and Seal this 16th. Day of October in
Year of our Lord 1771.
