"any for several days, and then began to be rather
"low and Feverish. She continued to grew lower & lower
"till the 9th. of Septr. when She was Seized with a
"Diarrhea, which was succeeded the next day by a shivering
"She continued still Sinking to the 13th. Instant & then Died
"My Opinion is that this Fever was the Occasion of her
"Death and was not broughton by the Blow, but was
"occasioned by the Offensive Smell & bad Air from the Lane
"As since that has happened we have lost most of our
"Patients, who were brought into the Hospital either
"with Blows or falls on the Head, besides the Fevers
"which accompany Wounds of the Head are Generally
"Attended with a full quick hard pulse, and are received
"by large Bleadings & Purges, Butall that have died
"with us lately have scarce had any Pulse at all
"and though they had different appearances after
"Death, they all had the very same Symptoms before

I am Gentleman Your most obedient
humble Servant
