and his Father came to Depts. House on Wednesday the 20th.
of March, Mr. Naters being abroad, the Deced went up Stairs
to Dept. and asked leave to go home with with his Father and
to return the next Morning, Says that she did not give
him leave but desired him to stay until his Master come in
but that he nevertheless went away with his Father

Ship Owner on his Oath saith That the Ship Carolina
came home from the Bay of Honduras about the 13th.
day of March last, That he went on Board the Ship
and saw the Deced, who told him that he had Fallen
upon an Anchor in the Voyage, but was then better,
Says that he gave him leave on the 16th. to go to see
his Father, Says that he did not see him until the
26th. of March when he found the Deced with his
Father and took him home with him when he gave

Back his Clothes being on, but that he gave him no
other Correction Says, that Captain Baker took Deced
on Board of Ship on Wednesday Evening and brought
him back the next Morning saying that he was ill &
not fit to go to Sea & was broken winded Says that he promised to sent
the Deced on Sunday or Monday to his Father to go
into the Westmr. Hospital , That he continued ill, and
was sent up on Saturday by Water to Westmr.
And says that the Deced told Dept. that he was broken
Winded, & that he Coughed and Spitted very much
