Informations taken this Seventh day of
May 1770 at the Parish of St. Clement Danes
within the Liberty of Westmr . in the County
of Middlesex upon an Inquisition touching the
Death of Henry Nelson< no role > lying dead in the said
Parish Liberty and County.

Richard Watson< no role > at the Sign of the Angel in Wych
Street in the Parish of St. Clement Danes Westmr. on
his Oath saith, That Henry Nelson< no role > the Deced Lodged in
Depts. House on Thursday Night last Friday Night
& Saturday Night, and went away in the Mornings That
the Deced came to Depts. House a little after one o'Clock
this Morning, when he appeared to be in Liquor-
having a small Wound, over his left Eye which bled
down his left Check, That on asking the Deced how
he reced the Wound, he Answered that a Man ran
again him in the Street and that he fell upon his
Face and could hardly get up again, but that he did
not know that he was Cut, Says that he desired to
have a Bed, and that Dept. put some Fryer's Balson
to the Cut, and that Deced after saying a short time
in the Kitchin went up Stairs with John the
Depts. Servant in order to go to Bed. Says that he
was informed by his Maid Servant this Morning-
about Ten o'Clock that Deced was dead, upon which
he went up Stairs into the Room wherein Deced lay
and found him dead in Bed.

Ann Taylor< no role > Servant to Mr. Watson on her Oath-
saith That about One o'Clock this Morning the Deced [..] for a Lodging
as he has done for three or four Nights lack past, that
he appeared to be in Liquor and had some Blood upon
his face and a Cut upon the Forehead which Mr. Watson
and his Porter Dressed, Says that Deced went up Stairs
a little before two o'Clock, that she warmed his Bed, and
after Deced was in Bed, She brought down the Candle,
that the Deced made no Complaint of Illness or of
being hurt, but wished the Deced a good Night, Says
