Informations of Witnesses taken this 30th day
of July 1768 in the Parish of St. George Hanover Square
in the Liberty of Westminster at the Dwelling House of
Mr. Rd. Williams< no role > the Sign of the Shakespears head at
Pimblico Before Thomas Prickard< no role > Gentleman
His Majesty's Coroner for the City and Liberty of Westminster
touching the Death of Thomas Perrin< no role > in the sd. Parish
then and there lying Dead as follow

James Carter< no role > of Pimlico Carpenter on his Oath says that on Thursday
the 28th. of July Instant about 20 Minutes past Seven in the Eveng. the Deceased
with his fellow Apprentice and a Man went to Bathe in the
Water by Chelsea water works Pimlico, that this Deponent went
likewise sometime after to Bathe therein at another part of the
Water, that he soon perceived to Deced to be in danger of
Drowning being got near a Slevine and the Water she being very
Considerably, the Deced notwithstanding the Deponent called to him
with others kept advancing forward, that the Deponent went
immediately upon finding he was in danger to endeavour to some
