Robert Pearce< no role > Coachman to Mr. Hale in Savill Row
on his Oath with, that on the 23d January last Dept. being
in Mr. Ferren's House heard the Deced and Tinderbox
Quarrel, but saw no blows, Says that Tinderbox was
turned out and came in again at another Door, Says that
the Deced stripped in order to fight Tinderbox who went
out and Decedfollowed himlikewise went on into the Yard, where they
fought, at First the Deced having the better, and afterwards
havingseverala falls together, Says that he saw no
foul play offered to Deced in the Battle

Thomas Turner< no role > a Lodger at Mr. Bavis a Cooks Shop at
St Giles's Pound on his Oath saith, That he sells Polonies
and on the 23d. January last went into Mr. Ferren's House
to offer his Polonies to Sale, Says that the Deced proposed
Tossing for a Polony, and tossed up, but Dept. dropped his
half pence and did not call, Says that the Deced took hold
of Depts. Collar, pulled very hard, and almost Strongled
this Dept. with one hand, and with the other hand took
by force some of the Polonies out of Depts. Basket, and
dropped some on the floor, Says that a Man commonly
called Tinderbox took Depts. part and Quarrelled with
Deced, Says that some blows [..] between Tinderbox and
the Deced, but Depts. does not know which struck first
and that Depts. soon after went away
