Informations taken this First day of
February 1768 . at the Parish of St. Margaret
within the City Liberty of Westmr . in the County
of Middlesex on an Inquisition touching the Death
of William Lloyd< no role > lying dead in the said Parish
City Liberty and County.

Samuel Jones< no role > Pupil to Mr. Humphreys one of the
Surgeons at the Westmr. Hospital on his Oath saith That
on the Twentieth day of January last William Lloyd< no role > the
Deced was brought to said Hospital as a Casualty, having
a Compound Fracture in the Ankle of his Right Leg, Says
that he dressed the Deced's wound several times in the
Hospital and that all proper care was taken of him there
Says that the Deced Grew feverish, and died in said
Hospital Yesterday in the Afternoon, and Says that the
Fracture was the cause of his Death.

Joseph Dell< no role > of Love Lane in the Parish of St. Margaret
Westmr. Labourer on his Oath saith, That he was at Work
for Mr. Charles Stewart< no role > on the Twentieth day of January
last at Mr. Stewart Wharf in Beaufort Buildings in the
Parish of St. Clement Danes (as Dept. believes) Says that
the Deced was likewise a Carman and drove for said Mr.
Steward Says that the Deced drove a Cart laden with Coals
and drawn by Five Horses, from the Wharf towards the
Strand , and that a Boy soon after came to the Wharf say in
that the Deced's Cart was broke down, upon which this Dept
and four of his fellow Servants went to Deced, and found
that the Shaft of the Cart was broke, Says that they got
the Hores clear, and were going to unload the Coals, into
another Cart, Says, that the Deced was at the Tail of the
Cart
