day of January in the Year aforesaid being driving a certain Cart loaden with
Coals and drawn by Five Horses in a Place called Beaufort Buildings
in the
Parish of St. Clement Danes
, within the Liberty and County aforesaid, and
the Shaft of the said Cart then and there breaking, and the said

being then and there with other Laborers going to remove the Coals out of the said
Cart into another Cart adjoining or near there unto It so happened that an
Oak Plank, called the Ear band, fixed across the Tail of the said Cart then and
there Accidentally Casually and by Misfortune fell down upon the Right Leg
of the said

there received one mortal Fracture in and upon his Right Leg, of which
said mortal Fracture he the said

situate and being in the said Parish of St. Margaret
within the City Liberty and County aforesaid did languish and languishing
did live, on which said Thirty first day of January in the Year aforesaid he the said

And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say, that the said
