Information's taken this Sixteenth day of
January 1768 at the Parish of St. George Hanover [..]
Square within the Liberty of Westmr. in the Court
of Middlesex on an Inquisition touching Chi [..] Deck
of Frances Clarke< no role > lying dead in the Parish
Liberty and County aforesaid

Mary Way< no role > Nurse at the Westmr. Infirmary on
her Oath saith, that on the Second day of Decr. last [..]
Frances Clarke< no role > the Deced became on inpatient at the [..]
said Hospital having either a Dropsical Complaint or
a violent Cold which she had catched after a Misearrig
being much Swelled, Says that the Deced was chearful
and for the first week appeared to be better Says
that she afterwards give very Melandskoly and
low Spirited, did not care to speak to any body
nor to take any Nouristment Says that she
complaimed to this Dept. of having had some Trouble
and that her Bed was taken from under her by
and Execution, Says that this Dept. Nursed the Dark
and that the Deced went out of said Informany
the Second day of this Instant January about
a Quarter after six oClock in the Evening without [..]
any leave of Dept. knowledge Says, that she ha [..]
not [..] seen the Deced since, until this day
when she was dead.

Thomas Clarke< no role > a Labourer belonging to the Chelsea
water works in the parish of St. George Hanr. Square on
his Oath saith, That he was coming with his Fellow
Servants yesterday about twelve o'Clock, by the side
of the River towards Chelsea Bridge and saw a piece of
Chicked Linnen in the River, Says, that on looking
further be saw the Deced under the see and
