Informations taken this Twenty fourth day
of December 1765 at the Parish of St. James
within the Liberty of Westmr. in the County of
Middlesex on an Inquisition touching the Death
of Charles Till< no role > lying Dead in the said Parish
Liberty and County.

William Connoway< no role > a Lodger at Mr. Funt in White hart
Yard Windmill Street on his Oath saith, That he is a Bricklayer
Labourer and Works for Mr. Ludby of Oxford Road Bricklayer
Says that between four and five o Clock Yesterday afternoon
Dept was attending Charles Till the Deced who was a Bricklayer
and at Work on the House of Mr. Carbonell a Wine Merchant
in Chapel Alley in the Parish of St. James Says that the Deced
was Working upon the Chimney and Standing upon a Scaffold
upon the top of said House, and that Dept stood in a Gutter
about three or four Yards from deced, Says that he says
the Deced Stagger upon the Scaffold, and immediately fall
down from thence, Dept. says that he come down as soon as
he could, and found the Deced lying on the Ground in
Chapel Alley aforesaid, and Bleeding out of his Head, Says
that the Deced did not afterwards speak or move, and
Dept. believes that he was then Dead, and that his Death
was caused by the fall, Says that there was no Persons
upon the House with Deced at time he fell, but this
Deponent,
