Informations taken this Twentieth day of
November 1765 at the Parish of St. Paul Covent Garden
within the Liberty of Westmr. in the County of Midsex
on an Inquisition taken on View of the Body of
a Man Unknown lying Dead in the said Parish
Liberty and County.

John Hutchinson< no role > of little Catherine Street one of the
Watchman of the Parish of St. Paul Covent Garden on his
Oath saith that as he went his round in Covent Garden
calling half an hour after Eleven o'Clock on Monday
Night last, a Man Called (whom Dept. did not know) and
said that a Man lay there in an Old manner, upon
which Dept. went and found the Deced lying across the Reil
inclosing the Flower Garden in Covent Garden with his
Head and Part of his Body on the inside of the Rail and
the other Part of the Deced on the outside, Says that the
Deced lay with his face downwards, and that he was
Dead, and quite Cold, Says that his Breeches was down
but that he observed no Marks of Violence upon the Deced
Says that he went to the Watchhouse and acquainted the
Beadle and other Persons there of what he had seen what
the Beadle and some of the Watchmen went with Depont.
and carried Deced into the Bonehouse belonging to said
Parish, Says that he does not know the Deced
