Informations taken this fourteenth day of
August 1765 at the Parish of St. Margaret within
the City & Liberty of Westminster in the County of
Middlesex on an Inquisition taken on View of
the Body of Ralph Hutchinson< no role > lying Dead in
the said Parish City Liberty and County.

Richard Hopkins< no role > of the New Inn near Westmr. Bridge in
the Parish of St. Mary Lambeth in the County of Surry on his
Oath saith, That on Monday last about two o'Clock in the Afternoon
Dept. was in his Yard and saw a Black Man Servant to
Captain Stubbs of Lambeth , riding a Black Horse or Mare
upon the Gallop along the Road towards Westmr. Bridge
and opposite to Depts. Yard, Says that the Deced was in the
Road (and as Dept. Thinks was going to meet the said Black
Man) Says that the Horse or Mare (which it was Dept. is
not certain) on which the said Black man rode, went again
the Deced and forced him to the ground, and that the said
Horse or Mare, and the said Black man fell down at the
same time, Says that he run to the Deced immediately
and found him on the Ground Speechless, Says that the
Deced's Right Arm was broke and that he bled at the
Month or nose Says that the Deced was immediately carried
to the Westminster Hospital and Dept. assisted to put
him into Bed there, Says that he went to the Hospital
the next morning and was informed that the Deced
was Dead, And this Dept. says that the said Black Man
was in the Coach Road when the Deced was thrown done
Says that he does not know to whom the said Black Horse
or Mare belongs,
