Informations of Witness taken this Twenty
Seventh day of March 1765 at the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square within the Liberty of Westmr. in the
County of Middlesex on an Inquisition taken on
View of the Body of John Bouchereau< no role > lying Dead
in the said Parish Liberty and County.

Sarah Bouchereau< no role > late the Wife of John Bouchereau< no role > the Dead
on her Oath saith, That about twelve o'Clock at Noon on Monday
last the Deced went from his Lodging at Mr. Thomas's a Taylor
in Hog Lane in the Parish of St. Ann Westmr. leaving the Deponent
there, Says that about four o'Clock that Afternoon two Men come to Deced to acquaint her that
her Husband was in St. George's Hospital and desired to seeher
Says that she came to the Hospital with the Men andfoundwas informed that
the Decedtherewas Dead, Deponent says that the Deced was very
poor and in great Distress, and Dept. believes that he was
Disordered in his Sences.

Sarah Bouchereau< no role >

Mary Shephard< no role > one of the Nurses at St. George's Hospital on
her Oath saith, That on Monday last in the Afternoon Deced
was brought to said Hospital, Says that she was ordered to
put the Deced into Bed. and to give him some Cordial to
make him Vomit, Says that the Deced was very full of water
and purged freely but did not Vomit, Says that Deced died
in about an hour and an half after he was brought into
the Hospital, Says that she was informed that the Deced was
taken out of the Serpentine River in Hyde Park , and Depont.
believes that he was Suffocated by the Quantity of Water in
his Body.

John Dodson< no role > of Lambeth Carpenter on his Oath Saith,
That on Monday last in the Afternoon Dept. was at work
in Hyde Park by the Serpentine River , Says that upon
hearing a Man on the opposite side of the River call out
that a Man was in said River, Deponent and another
