Informations taken this Twenty first day of
February 1765 at the Parish of St. Paul Covent Garden
within the Liberty of Westmr in the County of Middlesex
on an Inquisition taken on View of the Body of Thomas
Eastgate
< no role > lying Dead in the said Parish Liberty and County.

Thomas Jacob< no role > Bourdillon Hatter and Hosier in Russell
Street Covent Garden (in the same Shop with Mr. Thomas Eastgate< no role >
Father to the Deced) on his oath saith, that the Deced was with
his Father in the same House, in the Business of Hatter and Hosier
says that the Deced was with his Father and Joseph [..] th Hogan< no role >
the Apprentice in Mr. Eastgate the Father's Shop yesterday, Depont.
says that he went out about some Business about a quarter before
six o Clock yesterday afternoon leaving the Deced, his Father and
the said Apprentice in the Shop Says that he returned house about twenty
Minutes after six o' Colck the same Afternoon and was then informed
by the Apprentice that the Deced had fallen out of the Garret Window
and killed himself, says that he did not see Deced until about
ten o'Clock that Evening and then found him Dead, but did not
examine the Deced. Says that he knows of no Quarrel the
Deced had with any Body, and that no Difference had happest
between the Deced and an other Person yesterday to Depts. Knowledge [..]
Says that he observed that the Deced Reeled in the Shop yesterday afternoon
before Deponent went out but from what causes Deponent cannot saywhich Dept. thinks was the [..]
[..] , Says that the Deced frequently used to write in the
Garret out of which the Deced (as Dept. was informed) fell out.

the Elder in Russell Street Hatter and Hosier on his Oath saith
Thathewas in his Master's Shop yesterday about half an hour
after five o'Clock in the afternoon with his Master, the Deced, and
Mr. Bourdillion, Says that the Deced was talking to Mr. Bourdillion
and Dept. observed the Deced faulter in his Speech but Dept. does notcause
know the cause, Says that Mr. Bourdillion soon after went out
on Business, Says that in a few Minutes after Mr. Bourdillion
went out, Deponent was sent by his Master with a Letter to the
Penny Port, in Bridges Street , Says that he returned immediate [..]
and found his Master and the Deced in the Shop, Says that very
soon
