James Every< no role > of Knightsbridge Polisher of Marble
on his Oath saith that yesterday afternoon Dept. being
at Knightsbridge , Mr. Jones a Beadle came to Dept. and
informed him that the Deced (his Mother) was Drowned
in Hyde Park , Upon which Deponent went there and
saw the Deced lye on the Shore [..] by the Riverside near
the Stone Bridge there, Says that Deced being warm
Deponent went to the Hospital near Hyde Park Corner
and fetched a Surgeon who bled the Deced in both Arm
says that she bled a little, but Dept. observed no Signs
of Life, and believes that she was then Dead. Says that
the Deced has been very Melanchely and disatisfied
for two years last past, and Dept. believes that shehas
seen for sometime disordered in her Senses.

Street Shoemaker , on her Oath saith, that Yesterday
about half an hour after twelve O' Clock Deced (who lodged
with Depont.) went out saying that she would go to Mr Clarke for a
half penny worth of small Beer, Says that she did not sea
her afterwards until she was informed, about half an
hour after one o' Clock or a little after the same day that Deced was Drown Hyde Park
Says that she went into Hyde park , and found the Deced
there, and Dept. believes that she was Dead, Says that
the Deced has been Melancholy for some time, and
frequently cryed, and Deponent believes that for a
fortnight last past Deced has been Disordered in her
Senses:
