Informations taken this 14th. day of September [..]
1764 at the Parish of St. George Hanover Square
within the Liberty of Westmr. in the County of
Middlesex taken on an Inquisition on view of
the Body of Elizabeth Every< no role > lying Dead within
the said Parish Liberty and County.

Peter Primmer< no role > a Soldier in the Cold Stream Regiment of
Foot Guards on his Oath saith that yesterday about one
o'Clock Deponent being asleep upon the bound Hyde Park , says that he
was awaked by a Woman (that stood upon the Stone Bridge
there leading towards Kensington ) crying out that a Woman was
Drowning says that she asked the Dept. if he could swim and desired
that he would come & endeavoured to get the Deced out of
the Water, Says that he [..] to the Bridge directly, and
saw the Deced in the River above the Bridge , and
about Seven Yards from the Shore, in the Parish of
St. George Hanover Square , Says that he saw the Deced
move her Head twice in the Water, Says that a Person
unknown to Dept. stripped off his Cloaths and went into
the River, part of the Deced's head appearing above water
Dept. says that he likewise went into the Water, and assisted the other
Man to pull the Deced out to the Shore, but Depont
observed no Signs of Life in the Deced at that time,
and Dept. believes that she was Dead.
