Informations of Witnesses taken the 6. day of July
1762 in the Parish of St. James in the said Liberty before
Thomas Prickard< no role > Coroner on View of the Body of John
Graham
< no role > then and there lying dead.

Charles Allen< no role > of King Street Golden Square Barber on his Oath
saith that he knew deced for six months last past, says that he
saw deced on last friday Night and deced then promised to come
on Saturday Morning to do something to a Weg of Deponent but Mistress
did not come, deced being then very much in Liquor, deponent
went to Deced on Sunday to his own House in little Swallow
Street , when deced desired to see depot. on Monday, says that
he came accordingly on Monday Morning about 8. or 9. oClock
and knocking at the Deced Shop Door and nobody opening it, Says that
the Door leading thro the Passage to the Bed Chamber of the
Deced being opened, Deponent went in, and knocked at the
Bed Chamber Door, and nobody Answering, Deponent looked
thro the Key Role, and saw the Deced leaning with his feet
towards theBedWindow and his Head towards theWindowBed, says
that he immediately went to Timothy Moor< no role > , who went with
Deponent and [..] alcot Edward Ladbrook< no role > to the Deced Bad Chamber Door, which
they found Locked and the Key being the inside of the Door says that Mr. Moor sent for a Carpenter
to force open the Door, says that the Carpenter immediately
found open the Door, upon which they went into the Room and discovered
the Deced hanging by a small Cord fixed to some Wooden Pegs
by the Bed side says that the Deced was then Dead having felt
his hand, which ,was Cold. Deponent says that he cut the Cord, and
Deced fell upon the Bed, His Clothes being all on, Shoes & Stockings
excepted.
