to Wit.

An Inquisition Indented, taken for our Sovereign Lord the King
at the Parish of St. James within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate Church of St.
Peter in Westminster in the County of Middlesex , the Sixth day of July in the Second Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the grace of God of Great Britain France and
Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth, before Thomas Prickard< no role > Gentleman Coroner of
our said Lord the King for the said City and Liberty, on View of the Body of John Graham< no role > then
and there lying Dead, upon the Oath of Cornelius Neep< no role > , John Donowell< no role > , William Bennett< no role > , Charles Lackland< no role >
Thomas Mackie< no role > , Robert Taylor< no role > , William Prestby< no role > , William Baker< no role > , Edward Lee< no role > , Richard Jones< no role > ,
Joseph Hubbard< no role > , Thomas North< no role > , John Spence< no role > , John Hall< no role > , William Agate< no role > , Samuel Gunnell< no role > and Henry Payne< no role > ,
good and lawfull Men of the said Liberty, duly chosen, and who being then and there duly Sworn
and charged to inquire for Our said Lord the King, when, how and by what means the said John
Graham
< no role > came to his Death, Do upon their Oath say, That the said John Graham< no role > not being of
sound Mind Memory and Understanding, but lunatick and distracted, on the fifth day of July
in the Year aforesaid, at the Parish aforesaid, in the Liberty and County aforesaid, one End of
a certain piece of small Cord unto a Wooden Peg, fastened into the Wall in the Lodging Room or
Apartment of him the said John Graham< no role > , in the dwelling House of Mr Bruce
situate and being in the Parish Liberty and County aforesaid, and the other End thereof about and
own Neck did fix, tye, and fasten, and therewith did then and there hang, suffocate, and strangle
himself, Of which said Hanging, Suffocation, and Strangling, he the said John Graham< no role > then
and there instantly Died. And so the Jurors aforesaid, upon their Oath aforesaid, do say, that the
said John Graham< no role > , not being of sound Mind Memory and Understanding, but lunatick and
distracted, in manner and by the Means aforesaid, did Kill himself. In Witness whereof as
well the said Coroner, as the said Cornelius Neep< no role > Foreman, on the behalf of Himself and the rest of the
said Jurors, in their presence, have to this Inquisition set their Hands and Seals, the Day Year
and Place abovementioned.
