Jeremiah Moor< no role > of Chelsea Water Works in the Parish of
Saint George Hanover Square in the County of Middlesex Bricklayer
maketh Oath that a true Bill was found against this Deponent at
the last Sessions to which this Deponent pleaded and put in
Bail to appear and [..] try this present Sessions and this Deponent
further saith that William Edward< no role > of the Pin Apple Palace Place
Pimlico Bricklayer and John Barrowed of the some place Bricklayer
are material Witnesses for this Deponent on the Tryal of the said
Indictment and this Deponent did on the 22d. day of December
last make inquiry after the said William Edward< no role > and John Burrowes< no role >
and learnt that they were gone to Cobham in Surrey and would
not Return for a Month and this Deponent saith that he cannot
safely take his Tryal on the said Indictment out the testimony
of the said William Edward< no role > and John Burnover Another Deponent
further saith that he does not make this Application for the purpose of delay and that he
intends to take his Tryal the next Sessions. as he has no doubt the shall then have
the benefit of then testing my at that time
