the said County of Middx as afsd. on the sd. 18th. day of Octr.
on the Year 1798 afsd. the same being the Sessn. next holden
after 14 days from the delivery of the afsd. notice apply to & pray
the said Court of Sessions there to issue their Warrant or precept
to the Sheriff of the County of Middlesex requiring him to
impannel and return a Competent number of substanteal
and disinteristed person qualified to serve on Juries within
the said Liberty accordg. to the form of the Statute in such
Case made and provided whereupon the said Court of Sessions
having deemed the Deposition of the sd. Wm. Stokes< no role > respecting
the aforesd. Notice reasonable proof of such Notice as by the
Statute in such Case made and provided is required and the
said Houses Ground &Premes of the said Wm. Stewart< no role > and the
sd. Geo: Jackson< no role > herein before mentioned respectively appearing
to be within the Jurisdiction of the said Justices did then
and there according to the form of the Statute in such
Case made and provided upon the sd. Applicon of the said
Wm Stewart issue a certain Precept to the said Sheriff
of Middx to the Tenor and westmr. in the county of
Middx We Nathanl. conant Hugh Dive< no role > John Wilcack< no role >
and John Warner< no role > four of the Justices of our Lord the King
assigned to keep the peace in and for the Liberty of the Dean
and Chapter of the Collegiate Church of St. Peter Westmr .
the City Borough and Town of Westmr in the Co: of Middx.
and St. Martin Le Ground London and also to hear and
determine divers Telonies Trespasses and other Misdemeanors
Committed in the same Liberty To the Sheriff of Middx
greeting On the part of our Lord the King We command
and Strictly enjoin you that you impannel and cause
to come before as and other our fellows Justices of our
said Lord the King assigned to keep the peace in the Liberty
aforesd. and also to hear & determine divers Felonies
Trespasses and other Misdemeanors committed in the same
Liberty at the Guildhall in King Street Westmr. on
Saturday the 20th day of October instant by Nine of the Clock
in the forenoon 36 Substantial & disinterested persons
qualified to serve on Juries within the said Liberty there
to attend from day to day until dischaged to inquire &
try and determine by their verdict whether a certain
tresse or Tenemt. intended to be built on a certain piece
of Ground (commonly called crown Land) demised to Wm
Stewart of Piccadilly Tirman and situate on the South
side of the Street here to fore called Shug Lane but now
called Tichborne Street in the Parish of Saint James
within the Liberty of Westmr. in the County of Middx. late
