The King on the Prosecution
of George Stein
against
Charles Frazer< no role > and Sarah Warner< no role > }

For Stealing one Flat Value 10d.

Alexander Forsyth< no role > of Castly Street Leicester Fields
in the County of Middlesex Taylor Maketh Oath and with
that he this Deponent being an Evidence fro the Prosecution
in this Cause, on or abot the 27th. day of June last became
bound in recognizance to appear and give Evidence against
the abovenamed Defendants, and this Deponent further saith
that he did attend at the Guildhall in King street on the
29th day of June aforesaid in Order to be examined for such
Purpose but being totaly Ignorant of the nature of such
Business he by some means was not called on the Prosecutor
not Attending and there being no Bill Found against
the Defendants

And lastly this Deponent saith that he did not
either through favor or affection or from any Pecuniary
emolument absent himself from giving his Evidence but
merely from want of Knowledge in what manner to
proceed in the Business
