Hannah< no role > the Wife of Gabriel Piercy< no role > of Dartmouth Row
Westminster Shoe maker and Elizabeth Andrews< no role > the Younger Cook
to Mr. Anthony Milard< no role > of Abingdon Street Westminster Gentleman
Severally make Oath and Say that Two several Letters have been
lately sent to Elizabeth Andrews< no role > Widow and Mother of the Deponent
Elizabeth Andrews< no role > at her Lodgings at the said Mr. Piercys House in
Dartmouth Row the One informing her that she was Bound over in
the Sum of Twenty Pounds that Ann Read< no role > should appear at the
Sessions held in July last, and the other that she was Bound over
in the Sum of Twenty Pounds that Elizabeth Singleton< no role > should appear at the Session held in July last and they
not appearing according to the Condition of their Recognizances
for the purpose they became forfeited as more fully appear
by the said Letters hereunto annexed and these Deponents further
Severally Say That the said Elizabeth Andrews< no role > the Elder hath lodged
in the Two pair of Stairs Room of the said Mr. Piercy's House near
four years last past, where she still lodges and Say that the said Mrs.
Andrews is very much Afflicted with the Dropsy and hath not
been out of her Room for Upwards of a Year and a Quarter last
past and these Deponents further Severally Say that the said Mrs.
Andrews hath credibly informed these Deponents and which they
Verily believe to be true that she never Became Bail for the said
Ann Read< no role > or Elizabeth Singleton neither did she know or was
Acquainted with any such persons and that she never in her life
time was or ever became Bail for any person or persons whatsoever
And these Deponents lastly Say they verily believe that some person
must have personated the said Mrs. Andrews as Bail for the said
Ann Read< no role > and Elizabeth Singleton< no role > and Also Say that the said
Mrs. Andrews is now so very bad of the Dropsy that it would be
Dangerous to remove her to make an Affidavit in this matter
