Repairs to the satisfaction of the Hospital Surveyor within the first
two years previously to the grant of the Lease and to Keep and
leave in repair and to insure at the Sum the Surveyor shall
direct.

To Messrs. Freckingham
and Buttenshaw.


To Mr. Robert Freckingham< no role > and Mr. Thomas Buttenshaw< no role >
of two houses on the North side of the County Goal in the Borough
High Street (at present in lease to William Winter< no role > at £10 Per
Annum which will expire at Michaelmas 1797) for a term of 21
Years from Midsummer 1797 when the Tenant agreed to give up
his lease at a Rent of £40 Per Annum clear of the land tax
and all other taxes and outgoings the tenants to Put the Premises
into repair within six months and prior to the grant of the
Lease to the satisfaction of the Hospital Surveyor and to
insure at £700.

Selling to Messrs.
Clowes, Newbury
& Maddox.

We have agreed to let to Messrs. Clowes, Newbury & Madox
as tenants at will the Public House in St. Thomas's Street
(late in lease to Mr. Edmund Dawson< no role > which expired at Christmas
1795 at a rent of £35 Pr Annum) at a rent of £50 Per
Annum clear of the land tax and all other taxes and outgoings
Messrs. Clowes & Co. to Keep the premises in repair under the
direction of the Hospital Surveyor.

Notice given to
Mr. Long to repair
houses in the New
Way.

We have ordered Notice to be given to Mr. Long tenant
of the houses in the New way in St. Thomas's Parish under a
lease granted to Joseph Townsend< no role > which expired at Lady day 1796
to do the several repairs enumerated in a Survey taken thereof by
the Hospital Surveyor.

Three Years added
to lease to Mr. Betons


We have agreed to add three years to the term of Mr.
