in the usual manner declared at a General Court
holden for the said Hospital the 16th.. day of the
same month of July and the election of a new Vicar
appointed for the 27th.. day of August following
And the same comming on that day accordingly
the Revd .. Derbyshire Myers< no role > Clerk was
elected Whereupon It was ordered that a
Presentation of the said Derbyshire Myers to
the said Living should pass under the seal
of the said Hospitals That such Presentation
being made out was left at the Chamberlain's
Office with the usual Docket and fee and was
afterwards at the next Court of the Lord
Mayor and Aldermen presented to that
Court in order to have the seal of the Royal
Hospitals affixed to it, but the Clerk on such
application was informed by the said Court
That by reason of such Orders and
Resolutions of the 4th.. and 17th.. day of
March 1778 the same could not be done by
that Court alone for want of which the said
Derbyshire Myers could not apply to the
Lord Bishop of London in whose Discese
the said Living lies for Institution And the
said Derbyshire Myers having sometime
afterwards been presented to another..
Living he thereupon declined accepting
the Living of Little Wakering aforesaid
