We have Ordered the same accordingly

Several Persons having attended the Committee and made
various Proposals for taking the Hospitals Estate at Orpington and Farnborough
now in Lease to Mr: Quilter; which expires at Laday 1769.

Orpington Estate
Surveyed


We Resolved that before the Committee agree with any
Person for the said Estate the same should be accurately Surveyed and a Plan
taken thereof by Mr: Sloane: And a Report made by him after such Survey of
the exact Quantities of the Timber And of all the material. Circumstances of
the said Estate for the Information of the Committee And that such Survey
and report be made with all convenient Expedition which has been made
accordingly And several Persons attending again and We not thinking any
of their Offers adequate to the Value of the Estate.

Ordered that it be left to Mr: Treasurer to treat and
agree for Letting the said Estate to such Person or Persons as He shall think
fit at the Clear Yearly Rent of £50 and a Fine of £1000

We being informed that the late Mr: Samuel Winter< no role > (to
whom we agreed on the 14th: Jany: 1766 to grant a Lease of his then dwelling
house at Wapping for a Term of 21 Years from Laday 1767) died without having
Executed a Counterpart of the said Lease And that Mr: John Turpin had
since purchased all Mr: Winters Interest in the said Premisses from his
Representatives.

We Agreed therefore that the said Lease be now Granted
to the said Mr: Turpin in his own Name for the Residue. now unexpired of the
said Term of 21 Years upon the same Terms it was Granted to Mr: Winter.

Mr: Jupp having Delivered to the Committee in
writing an Account of his Stated. Annual business as Surveyor to the Hospital
as a Ground for the Increase of his Salary the same being Read and Considered

We Resolved Unanimously that Mr: Jupps present
Salary be raised to £70 Pr. [..] to Commence from Laday 1768. and to
Continue during the Pleasure of the Committee.
