The Minutes of the last General Court held the
1st:of February 1758 were read and Confirm'd

The Report of the Grand Committee of their
Proceedings since the last Annual General Court was read,
and is as follows

To the Right Worshipfull the General
Court of the Governors of St: Thomas's Hospital

We he Grand Committee appointed for the
Management of the Affairs of this Hospital, do Report
our Proceedings therein since the last Annual General
Court held the 27th. July 1757.

We have Granted Leases to the following Persons

Grant to Willm.
Smith


To William Smith< no role > a Lease of 4 Houses & 3 Small
Tenements behind the same in St. Thomas's Parish now in
Lease to Mr. Robert Taylor< no role > which will Expire at Michmas
1758. and of all the Premisses in the Maze , & opposite the two
Pumps , Comprized in three different Leases to which the
said William Smith is now Intitled and which he is to
Surrender to the Hospital for 51 Years from Michmas
1758 at the clear Yearly rent of £40 a Fine of £100
and to lay out £500 in new Buildings
