and Phebe Johnson was duly Chose into the Said Office To hold the

Court She observing all the rules & Orders as are or Shall be made
by this Court or the Grand Committee relating thereto

It appearing by the Report from the Grand Committee that Mr.
James Brouse< no role > Steward of this Hospital has been Offlicted with a deep
melancholy almost ever Since his Election in to that Office and that upon
the best examination into the State of his health there appears no Proabl-
-ity of his recovering his health or his Capacity So as to be able to
execute the Said Office It is Resolved by this Court that they with
Procede to Chuse some other Fitt & Proper Person to be Steward
of this Hospital on Wednesday the 31 St. of this instant July in the
room of the Said Mr. Brouse.
