our late Hospital of the Lease taken by him and Mr. Hulton our
late Steward from Mr. Spence And as the rent payable upon that
Lease it twenty Shillings more than is paid by Mr. Davenport who
holds part of the premisses and the residue being for the Conveniency
of the Hospitler and Steward We concieve the said Hospitler and
Steward should pay that surplus of rent in proportion to what they
enjoy.

More Nicholas
Order


We are informed that Nicholas More< no role > Esqr . our late Tennant of
Bewick Farme in Yorkshire is dead and his Estate t be sold before
a Master under a Decree of the High Court of Chancery. And that
but 8 Years of the Terme in the Lease of the said Farme being
remaining it is some obstruction to the Sale of the said Mr More's
Estate We therefore desire the direction of this Court touching
the renewall or enlargement of the said Lease.

Another Labourer for
the Apothecary


We have thought proper that another Labourer be Allowed to Assist
the Apothecary of this House during the Pleasure of the Grand Committee
such Labourer to be approved from time to by Mr. Treasurer.

Gratuity to the
Steward


We taking notice that Mr. Gale our Steward has behav'd himselfe very
diligently for the Year past and that the trouble of his Office is increased
of late years by the great increase of Patients we recommend it to
this Court that he may have a Gratuity of ten Pounds paid by
Mr. Treasurer for the last years Service as his Predecessor had

All which we submit to the Judgment of this General Court

July 17th. 1728.

And as to that part of the said Report which relates to the
Lease from Mr. Spence taken by the said Hospitler and Steward
It is Ordered That the Hospitler and Steward for the time being
do pay the Overplus of 20s. P Ann mentioned in the said Report
in proportion to what they enjoy.

Bewick Farme
Order.


And as to that part of the said Report which relates to
Bewick Farme in Yorkshire It is Ordered that the Grand
Committee may treat and Agree for a new Lease of the said
Farme upon such Termes as they shall think fit not withstanding
there are eight Years of the present Lease unexpired.

Apothecarys

And as to that part of the said Report which relates to the
Allowance of an other Labourer for the Apothecary It is Ordered
according to the recommendation of the Grand Committee.

And as to the Gratuity of Ten pounds mentioned in the said Report
for our Steward The same is Ordered to be paid by Mr. Treasurer. And
then the rest of the said Report and all matters and things therein
contained were approved and allowed and the same was Ordered to
be entred in the Reportory of the Proceedings of this Court

Subscriptions being recommended by the President to the Court
towards defraying the great Charge and expence of the Hospital The
Gentlemen after named Subscribed the sums following Vizt.
