Christmas 1724. At Three pounds P Ann Payable Quarterly Tax Free In
Consideration of a Fine of Five Guineas and his Laying out Two hundred Pounds
in New Building of One or Two Houses in the Room of the aforesaid Old House
and the Building thereunto adjoyning.

Grant to John Fowler< no role >


We have Agreed also with Mr. John Fowler< no role > to Grant him a Lease of a House
and the Back Ground with the Stable Work house or Building therein new
late in his Possession in St. Thomas's Parish aforesaid being the Remainder
of the Houses Buildings & Ground lately Held by the said Mrs. Strongs Executor
for One and twenty years from Christmas 1724. at Seven Pounds P Annu
Tax free In Consideration of a Fine of Forty Guineas and of his Laying out
Fifty Pounds in the Necessary Reparations of the Premisses within the
first Year of the said Terme.

Grant to John Hubbard< no role >


We have Agreed with Mr. John Hubbard< no role > to Grant him a Lease of a Small
Old Tenement in St. Thomas's Parish late in the Possession of Obadiah Thomas< no role >
and now of Zachariah Clarke< no role > for Thirty Years and a Quarter of a Year from
Christmas 1724 (being the same Terme which was then to come in the Lease
of Several Houses adjoyning held by Mrs. Span) at the Rent of four Pounds
P Ann Tax free In Consideration of a Fine of Twelve Guineas And of his
Laying out five and twenty Pounds in necessary Repaires within the first
year of the said Terme.

to be laid out in the
Purchase of £1000
Orphans Debt}

Mr. Reeves Mr. Topham and Dr. Jones the Executors of Mr. Randean Deced
late House keeper of Windsor Castle have thought fit by the recomendation
of Dr. Mead to consent that the sum of One thousand Pounds part of the
Fund left by his Will to be disposed of by them for Charitable uses shall be
given to this Hospital So as the Produce thereof may be appropriated
by the said Executors for such Particular Purposes in this Hospital as they
shall think proper Whereupon We have Authorized Mr. Treasurer to
Lay out the said Sum of One thousand Pounds in or towards the Purchase
of One thousand Pounds Interest in the Orphans Debt in the Chamber of
London And if that mony shall not be Sufficient for such Purchase them
to advance so much of the Hospital's Cash in his hands as will be
sufficient to Purchase the same The said Executors desiring That the said
Mony may be Invested in that Debt or Fund And Mr. Treasurer is to Agree
with the said Executors That the Produce of the said One thousand Pounds
Interest in the said Orphans Debt or Fund shall be Appropriated to such
uses in this Hospital as they shall think proper Agreeable to the General
design of this Charity And to give a Receipt Specifying such uses And We
have Ordered our Thanks to be given to the said Mr. Reeves Mr Topham
and Dr. Jones and Dr. Mead for their Kind Offices in procuring for this
Hospital so Great a Part of the said Mr Randean's Charitable Legacy.

Grant to John Whitlock< no role >


We have Agreed with Mr. John Whitlock< no role > to Grant him a Lease of a
House in Wapping now in his Possession being One of the Three Houses
lately held by the Lady Cass for One and twenty Years from Lady Day 1725
at the Yearly Rent of Seventeen Pounds Tax free He is to Lay out Fifty Pounds
within a Year in necessary and Substantial Repairs And the Hospital is to
make a New Brick Wharfe next the Thames with Camshott and Fenders
at the Hospitals Charge of the like heighth and Goodness with the Wharfes
there lately made to other Houses belonging to the Hospital.

Grant to Wm. Hussey< no role > .


We have Agreed with Mr. William Hussey< no role > to Grant him a Lease of
another of the said Three Houses now in his Possession for the like Terme
of One and twenty Years from Lady Day 1725. At the Yearly Rent of fourteen
Pounds Ten Shillings Tax free He is to Lay out Fifty Pounds in necessary
Repairs And a New Wharfe is also to be made for him by the Hospital.

Grant to James Taylor< no role >


We have Agreed with Mr. James Taylor< no role > to Grant him a Lease of the
other of the said Three Houses now in his possession for the like Terme
of One and twenty Years from Lady Day 1725. At the Yearly Rent of
Seventeen Pounds Ten Shillings Tax free He is Lay out Fifty Pounds
in Necessary Repaires within the First Year and the Hospital is also to
make a New Brick Wharfe for him next the River.
