Five pounds P Annum Tax free, being an Increase of Twenty Shillings
per Annum, For a Fine of Forty two pounds to be paid in a Month from
makeing of the Contract; And in Consideration of Fifty pounds at the
least, to be laid out in necessary and Substantiall Repaires within
Twelve months; and she is to Secure the Gutter or Channell running in
the Alley on the Westside of the said House, so as the Foundation of the
said House may not Receive any Prejudice or Damage from it.

Wee have agreed to accept a Surrender of the Grant or Lease made
to Dr : John Peachy< no role > deced, of his late dwelling House in Bow Lane in
London, from his Son Joseph Peachy< no role > his Sole Executor ; In Consideracon
of his paying the Rent to Michmas next, and his leaveing all the
Goods and things menconed in the Schedule taken for the said Lease,
And also the Cistern and the Copper and the Kitchen Grates, and all the
Presses and other things which were fixed in the House at the time of
this Agreement, and of his Quitting the possession at Midsomer last,
all which he agreed to, and has accordingly performed.

Wee agreed with Mr John Hudson< no role > and Mr Joseph Parsons< no role > to Grant
them a Lease of the said House in Bow Lane late in the possession of
the said Dr: Peachy, and of Two other Houses next adjoyning, in Bow-lane
and Basing-lane now or late in the possession of Benja: Clark< no role > Tallowchandler
and John Cutter< no role > , For one and Twenty yeares, at Twenty pounds P Annum
Tax free; In Consideracon of a Fine of One hundred and Fifty pounds, and
of Two hundred and Fifty pounds to be laid out by them in lasting and
necessary Repaires and Alterations within two yeares: But whereas one
Mr. Tudor is in possession as Tenant at Will of part of the said House
lately held by the said Dr. Peachy; The Hospitall is at their Desire to
get the said Tudor out of possession, and the Hospitall is in the mean
time to Receive the Improved Rents of the said 3: Houses, and then the said
Lease is to Commence.

Grant to John Holland< no role >


We have agreed with Mr. John Holland< no role > to Grant him a Lease of a
small Old Tenement called the Lyon and Lamb in St: Thomas's Parish
from Midsomer last for Eleven yeares, at Ten pounds P Ann Tax free
In Consideracon of his putting the Premisses into good Repaire at his
own Charge.

Grant to Thos. Eugier< no role >


Wee have agreed with Mr Thomas Eugier< no role > to Grant him a Lease of
the Two Warehouses under the new Foule Wards in this Hospitall for 7: yeares
from Michmas last, at Twenty pounds P Ann payable Quarterly,Tax free;
He is to Floore the said Warehouses at his own Charge But two Windowes
were to be put in, and the Floores to be Sunk lower at the Hospitalls
Charge
