made thereof to the said John Reeve< no role > which expired at Christmas last that a
Lease be made to the said Thomas Cook< no role > of the said Tenement for the terme
of one and Twenty yeares from Midsomer 1697 at the old rent of
Three and Thirty Shillings per Annum and for a fine of Forty pounds
to be paid in hand.

And whereas this Court did lately grant to George Davison< no role > a Lease
of severall Tenements in St. Thomas parish Southwarke for the terme of
Forty one yeares from Lady day 1696 in consideracon of new building and
for a yearly rent of Ten pounds the ground whereof abuts on the reare
and two sides of a Tenement late held by Thomas Brisco< no role > by Lease
wherein Ten yeares is to come at Michaelmas next at the yearly rent
of Fower and Forty Shillings and the said George Davison< no role > having
bought the interest of the said Brisco in the said Tenement and his
buildings would not be so well improved as otherwise they would in
case he had the like terme therein as in the said other ground We
therefore agreed with him that in consideracon of a Fine of Six pounds
to be paid in hand and new building a Tenement on part of the
ground of the said last menconed Tenement containing Fifteene foot
by eighteene foote and surrendring the Lease thereof in being he
shall have a Lease thereof for Forty one yeares from Lady day 1696
aforesaid on Surrender of the said other premisses of the said Brisco he
shall have a Lease of them altogeather for the said terme of Forty
one yeares with increase and addicon of the rent of Forty fower
shillings So that the whole rent for all the premisses wilbe Twelve
pounds Fower shillings per Annum.

We have also agreed with Jonathan Garrett< no role > Citizen and Merchant Taylor
of London that he shall have a Lease of severall small old Tenements
in St. Thomas parish Southwarke for the terme of one and Twenty
yeares from Michmas 1698 when the present Lease in being made
of the same to Samuel Lyn< no role > and now Enjoyed by Widdow Hall doth
expire at the old rent of Five pounds and for a fine of Ninety pounds
to be paid in hand before then sealing of the said intended Lease.

And we further certifie that in pursuance of a former order of
this Court we having divided the lands of and belonging to the
Mannor of Shoreditch place in Hackney in the County of Middlesex
into severall Farmes and parcells to be Lett by distinct Leases we
have treated and agreed with Madm. Margarett Cook< no role > Widdow present
tenant thereof for demising all the same to her (Except what has
bin Lett before to her John Forman< no role > ) in the severall farmes and proporson
and for the severall rents and fines following (that is to say) That one
Lease be made to her of the manner house comonly called Shoreditch Place
and two little houses neere it and about thirty one acres of land contiquous
to it for the terme of one and twenty yeares from Lady day 1699 at the
yearly rent of Twenty pounds and for a fine of Six hundred and Fifty pounds
