The Minutes of the last Grand Comittee
held the 16thinstant were read & confirmed

Mr. Nicholas Parkes< no role > attended the Committee
& Insisting on the Hospitals laying out a much larger
sum of Money in ye Repairs of the two Houses in
Paternoster Row than was propos'd to be laid out
when he Agreed to taken Lease thereof at the
Committee held the 11th. Febry: last Ordered that
the Sd: Agreement be Vacated.

proposal for ye manor
of Crofton.


[mark] Mr. Clutterbuck appear'd on behalf of the
Widow of John Smith< no role > Esqr deced & proposed to
take a Lease of the Scite of the Mannor of
Crofton for 21 years from Ladyday 1748 at a
Fine of £400 & 40 ld P Ann clear Rent being the
same Terms were proposed by Goddard Smith< no role >
Esqr deced at a Committee held 20th: June 1745 but
the sd: proposal was not accepted

Agreed with Edwd: Everard< no role > to grant him a
Lease of three houses in Fleet Lane he now holds
of the Hospital, for 21 years from Michas next at £20 P Ann
clear Rent The Lease of one of the Houses which
Expires at Michas 1750 to be Surrender'd
