The Minutes of the last Grand
Committee were read & Confirmed.

The Clerk laid before this Commee
a Draught of a Report from this Committee
to the General Court of the Proceedings of this
Committee since the last annual General Court
held the 13th. of July last, & ye. same being read
& approved was signed by the Members of the
Commee now present

It being observed that by the general
Rule laid down by the order of the generall Court of
7th. April 1704 in regard to Grants Renewals of
Leases of ye Estates belonging to this Hospitall
the Grand Committee cannot grant Leases for a
longer Term than 21 Years or renew Leases sooner
than within three Years of their expiring, which
Regulation this Committee apprehend may be
in some Cases inconvenient & prejudicial to the
Hospital

this Committee touching the said Regulation
made by the said Order of 7th April 1704 be pre:
:pared & laid before the General Court

And a Representation thereof being
prepared accordingly, ye. same was read & being
approved of, was signed by the Members of the
Committee now present
