and Mr. Lessingham or any Three of them have
power to make an Agreement with Mr. Thomas
Eugier
< no role > concerning the Rent for the Warehouses
under the New Foul Wards of this Hospital &
such other matters as are in Dispute with him.

Grand Committee Mercur 24o. Marty 1724

Minutes of Last Grand Committee Read & Approved.

Ordered that thanks be given to Dr. Jones with
respect to the sum of £1000. given to this Hospl.
out of Mr Randeans Estate and that his name be
added in the last Minutes to Mr. Reeves and
Mr. Topham and Dr. Mead.

Mr. Treasurer Reported That he with several of
the Gentlemen Appointed by the last Grand
Committee to View the Three Houses in Wapping
Hold by Lady Cass The Lease whereof expires at
Lady Day next had viewed the same accordingly
and found the Wharfes Old and Decayed and the
Houses very much out of Repaire And that One
was Lett to Mr. JohnWhitlock< no role > at £25. P Ann
another to Mr. WilliamHussey< no role > at £19. P Ann
and the other to Mr. JamesTaylor< no role > at £23. P Ann
in all £67. P Ann which appeared to be the full
improved Rents or value thereof.

And then the said Lady Cass who attended to
Renew the said Lease for 21. years was called in
and proposed to give as a Fine the Sum of £100.
To Lay out £250. in Three New Brick Wharfes and
Repaires and to advance Eight pounds P Annum
Ground Rent above the Old Ground Rent of £4 P
Ann She afterwards proposed £71. more as an
addition to the Fine and to Quit all pretensions
to any Satisfaction for the Charge she lately paid
for a party Wall which Cost her about Thirty pounds
But the Committee was of Opinion her Proposalls
