Mr: Trear acquainted the Comittee That he had
Suspended Benjn: Cormell< no role > the Eldest Beadle for takeing
away the Hospitall's Coles Coales & Converting then to his
own Use Which Matter Appeared to Mr: Trear by the
Information of Two Persons, who had been Imployed by
him in Carrying away the said Coales, One of whom was
Taken with about a Bushell of Coales in a Sack soon
after Christmas last, Which he Confessed was to have been
Carryed to the said Beades House. And the said Beadle
being now heard upon the said Complaint, He Denyed the
Fact, But the Comittee upon the Circumstances of the Case
believing him Guilty, They Ordered him for his said Offence
to be Discharged from the Service of the Hospitall, And th [..]
A New Beadle be Chosen in his Roome.

Mr: Davis the Apothecary to this Hospitall being
lately Dead A Debate Arose touching the Method of
Providing Physick for the Time to Come for the Patients
in this Hospitall And upon the Queen whether it shall
be Recomended to the Generall Court as the Opinion of the
Comittee That the Hospll: shall for the Future Buy the
Druggs & other Matterialls for Medicines for the Poor
and have the same Made up in the Hospitall to
It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

And Upon the Question Whether it shall be also
Recomended to the Generall Court as the Opinion of
this Comittee That the Person who shall be Chosen to
make up and Dispense the said Medicines shall be
Oblidged to Reside within the Hospitall and not to
Practice as an Apothecary out of it under A Sallary
of £50: P Ann: and such other Allowances as the Grand
Comittee shall think Fitt And that it be Referred from
Time to Time to the Grand Comittee to Choose a Propper
person for that Service and that he be Subject to be
Removed or Displaced by them as they shall See Cause
It was also Resolved in the Affirmative.
