that he Accepted the Key under those Termes in
the presence of Mr: White house Mr. Pantall & Mr
Waterman three of the Vestry Men of the sd Pish.

And that after severall Meetings with the sd
Poulter White house, pantall & Waterman and one
Mr Ratcliffe who were appointedbyas a Comittee
by the Vestry of the sd parish to Treat & Agree with
the sd Sub Comittee, of the Governors: of this Hospll:
It was on the 26th: day of February last Agreed
between them, That the parishonrs: shall Surrender
their Lease of the Houses in the new intended Street now used
for Almes houses wherein were 12 Years & ½ to Come at Christmas
last at £3:6s:0d P Ann wth: an Exception only of the Lease grant
-ed by them to their Tennt: of One of the sd Houses Called the Shovell
Alehouse And that in Consideracon thereof A Leases shall be
granted to the Parishoners for the Benefitt of the Parish
of Severall Little Old Tenemts. lyeing in St: Thomas's Church
Yard (late in Lease to Theodore Russell< no role > ) for One & Fifty years
from Lady day next at the Old yearly Rent of Four pounds
Eight shillings payable quarterly In which Lease the same
Covenants are to be Contained (Mutatis Mulandis) as are
in the Lease now Agreed to be Surrendred, And in regard
the said houses are very Much out of repaire & will Cost
the Parishonrs: a Considerable sume to make them fitt for
Receiving their poore & they Submitting themselves therein
to the good pleasure of the Governrs. It was Agreed that the [..]

Mr: Trear also Reported, that he had accquainted the
Pishonrs: with this Comittees Resolucon to Order the
Saints Bell to be Hung up in the Steeple , but that
this Comittee was not willing to be at the Charge of
Hanging up a Great Bell there, where upon, the
Parishonrs: Renewed their Request for a Great
Bell, and desired it might be Hung for Telling only
