yearely rent of £7. to bee paid half yearely and for a
fine of £65. to bee paid one half within a moneth and the
other halfe att Mictmas next.

Also that John Watts< no role > in consideracon of 50. Guineas
peices of gold paid within a moneth now next ensuing
shall have a Lease of a Tenement he now or late
inhabited in St. Thomas parish Southwarke for the terme
of one and 20. yeares from Michmas 1695att and
under the yearely rent of 44s. Provided if the fine bee
not paid in a moneth from this day the agreement is
made void.

The Treasurer acquainted the Comittee that hee with
some other Govnors did lately take a view of part of our
lands att Hackney now held with other lands in one
Lease by Mr. Cook Merchant the Assignee of the
Executors of Sr. Tho: Plaier< no role > which expires att Lady day
1699 and they found that one peice of ground cons
5. acres and upwards adjoyning to Meere streete on the
Westside thereof might probably bee good to make
brick but however convenient to lett out for building and
that a peice of 3: acres and above an half and another
peice of two acres and a quarter of an acre lying
contiguous to the said streete on the other side & held with
some other of the Hospitalls ground by one John Forman< no role >
undertenant to Mr. Cooke is also fitt for building and the
