Sir
I received a Letter from Mr Stevens Yesterday saying he
had been very ill but to fred to been Torn soon & pay his Rent.
his lease expires at Michmas, whether he into hold over or any
one else to take to it some Terms she at be settled, for Low ever ill
favoured the Estate may be, is in clear that it is worth more
new according to general Custom them 20 Years ago.

I hope you keep in Mend the plan for ascertaining & preservg
he Article of Tirmber & Suppose you can pretty well calculate
what has of late been felled. I have this day received from the
Canal Company the rough Draft of the deed for accuring the
Water at Mr Satters: Mr Cromwell ever Attorney well such
near Week & settled.

Dear Sir
I thank it proper to mention a Circumstance respecting the
Estate at Eltisley belonging to the London Workhouse other
Hospital which did not come to my Knowledge tell very lately,
& am doubtful if you knew it: I always thought it a fresh old
whereas it is Copy hold, of Course subject to afore on death or
A lunatcon. Upwards of forty Years ago Mr. John Baker< no role > one of
ser Governors was admitted, & the fine then paid was £105 Mr.
Baker is lately dead, but at has not come to the Knowledge of the
Lord of the Money as lease we have not he and from hun it dont
seem to be any Du [..] of our lett we hear from him; formerly
injury was made if Mr Baker was living, but not of late. I
was willing to give you this Information & will inform you when
any Thing further [..]

The Premises of which you have a lease from
Mr Wingfield are sold to Mr Cornell, the Rent due at Michmas
you are to pay are as this Hospital, where you paid the last
half Year. Send me a Line by Penny Post, when you will
all, & bring will you the last Receipt.

Mr Jeffries Parish Co [..] to Mr Pardon Lumer standg. that
on Allowance in made for Land tax or £15 being part of the Kent
for Premises in lease to Mr Dawson, he new for is that the Allowance
has guilty exceded the Land tax rate, & inches no doubt Mr
Pardon well reen burse all that has so exceeded the Jeffreesher
has proposed Lew must in the pound the [..] at has been for many
years back, conceding the Turns of this [..] every Con [..] may be
respected.
