I reced yors: of the 5th: of June last, wherein you advise the
Gentleman concerned in the Eltisley Estate to defer the making a
Seisure till the Harvest be got in, the Dung carried out & the Land
fellow'd: as this is the time of the year when these things are generally
done, the Governors of both House desire you will not let slip this
Opportunity of securing the whole Rent due, which will be four years &
half at Michaelmas next. I desire the favour of an Answer by the first
Conveniency with an Account of the Quantity of the Lands, what Crops
the Tenants have had, & whether you are treating with any other Person

I am glad to find by yors: of the 7th inst: that you think the Rents
safe which is due from the Eltisley Tents: but desire to know year
Reason for mentioning the ordering some Attorney to seise on Gregory's
Effects, for I suppose you have a Letter of Attorney from the Gentlemen
to Receive the Rents, & consequently a proper Authority to seize, if you
have not such a Power you will let me know, that it may be sent
you forthwith
