Middlesex (to Wit) December Session One
thousand seven hundred and ninety nine William
Crockford
< no role > of Fisher Street Red Queen Square in the County
of Middlesex Carpenter Maketh Oath and saith that
he this Deponent was in or abent the Month of May
last employed by David Sands< no role > of Pall Mall in the
said County Gentleman to perform some Carpenters
Work on some Premises belonging to the said David
Sands
< no role > Situated in Great Russell Street in the Parish
of Saint Giles in the Fields in the said County
but that having been informed by divers Persons
and which information he then believed and does
now believe to be true that John Hale< no role > of Charlotte
Street in the Parish of Saint Pancras in the County of Middlesex
the Surveyor of the district wherein the said Premises are
situated had (altho regularly served with a Written
Notice from the said David Sands< no role > to come in survey
and inspect the said premises and had had Many
other and repeated Applications form the said David
Lands and others to the like effect wholly refused and
neglected so to do he this Deponent chose to with
draw himself from such employment other than
expose himself to the penalty he would have been
liable to by an Art passed in the F [..] Year
of the Reign of his present Majesty intitled the
