said County assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldersgate
in the City of London

Sheweth

That by Virtue of an Order of Removal
or Pass Warrant the Hands and Seals of John
Devaynes< no role > and John Collick< no role > Esquire two of His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace in and for the County of Middlesex
(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the third
day of December one thousand seven hundred and ninety
eight Elizabeth Saunders< no role > wife of John Saunders< no role > (alledged
by the said Order to be gone from her) was removed
and Conveyed from the Parish of Saint Martin in the
Fields within the Liberty of Westminster in the County of
Middlesex and delivered to Your Petitioner being the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldersgate in the said
City of London (the said Justices adjudging that the Place
of the last legal Settlement of the said John Saunders< no role >
and Elizabeth his wife were in the said Parish of Saint
Botolph without Aldersgate in the City of London by
