That the said John Marsden< no role > in pursuance and
Obedience to such Conviction and order of the said Cranley Thomas
Kerby
< no role > Entered into the Dwelling House of your Petitioner and took
Possession of all and Singular his Goods and Chattels therein

That your Petitioner being Innocent of the fact wherewith
he was charged before the said Cranley Thomas Kerby< no role > and being
also advised there is Manifest Error in the said Conviction did on the
Twenty fourth day of September One Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety
Eight Serve or Cause to be served the said Cranley Thomas Kerby and
the said Joseph Sowerby< no role > with a Notice that he Intended to bring and
Prosecute an appeal from the said Judgement of the said Cranley
Thomas Kerby to the then next General Quarter Sessions of the Peace
for the said County to be held at the Sessions House Clerkenwell Green
on the Twenty Second October then next.

That your Petitioner in Obedience to the Terms Prescribed in the
Act of Parliament whereon such Conviction was made did by
himself and two House Keepers enter into proper Recognizance
before the said Cranley Thomas Kerby to Prosecute such his appeal
with Effect at the then next and Present General Quarter Session
of the Peace to be held at the Session's House Clerkenwell

Your Petitioner therefore humbly prays your
Worships that the said appeal to such Conviction
may be set down to be heard and Determined before
your worships and that such a Day may be
appointed to hear andDeterminationDetermine
the same as to your Worships shall seem meet

And your Petitioner as in Duty
bound will ever pray Etc.
