To the Worshipful His Majesty's Justices of the peace in
and for the County of Middlesex in General Quarter Session of
the peace for the said County assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Gregory by Saint Pauls in
the City of London .

Sheweth

That by virtue of an Order of Removal or pass Warrant under the
hands and seals of William Coleman< no role > and William Claxton< no role > Esquires two
of His Majesty's Justices of the peace in and for the County of Middlesex
(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing Date the first day of January
One Thousand seven hundred and ninety Eight Arthur Bradley< no role > was
removed and conveyed from and out of the Parish of Enfield in the County
of Middlesex and delivered unto Your Petitioners being the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of saint Gregory by Saint Pauls
the said Justices adjudging that the place of the last legal Settlement of
the said Arthur Bradley< no role > was in the said Parish of Saint Gregory by
Saint Pauls in the said City of London by which said Order of Removal
or Pass Warrant Your Petitioner apprehend themselves to be aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore humbly appeal against the
said Order of Removal or Pass warrant and pray that
the benefit of this their Appeal may be saved unto them
and that the hearing and determination therefore
may be adjourned until the next General Session of the
peace to be holden for the said County.
