Quarter Session of the Peace Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Chruchwardens & Overssers of the Poor of the Parish
of St. Giles without Cripplegate London

Sheweth

That by virtue of a Warrant or Order under the hands
and Seals of Patrick Colquhoun< no role > and Daniel Williams< no role > -
Esquires two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and
for the County of Middlesex (me being of the Quorum)
bearing date the 10th. day of November 1797. Richard
Smith< no role > and Susannah< no role > his Wife were removed from the
Parish of Enfield in the said County of Middlesex to
the Parish of Saint Giles will not Cripplegate as he
place of their last legal Settlement.

That your Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved
by the said Warrant or Order and humbly appeal against
the same.

Your Petitioners therefore humbly pray That
Your Worships will be pleased to grant them such
Relief as shall be thought most equitable.

And your Petitioners shall ever pray
