To the Right Worshipful His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
in and for the County of Middlesex in their General
Session Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint George Southwark in the
County of Surrey

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the Hands
and Seals of John Staples< no role > and Geo. Story< no role > Esquires two of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace acting in and for the County of
Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the
Twentieth day of June last whereby John Ponder< no role > and his two lawful issue Children
Vizt. Elizabeth< no role > and Mary Ann< no role > Were removed from and out of the
Hamlet of Ratcliffe in the parish of Saint Dunstan Stepney in the
said County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint George in the
said County of Surrey alledging the said Parish of Saint George
southwark to be the place of their last legal Settlement.

Your Petitioners conceiving themselves to be Aggrieved
by the said Warrant or Order of the said two Justices
Do therefore Appeal to Your Worships therefrom
And Humbly Pray that you will be pleased to hear
them in the Premises And Order that the Churchward
ens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Hamlet of
Ratclife in the Parish of Saint Dunstan Stepney
may appear before you at a certain day to be
Appointed to hear and abide the Judgment and
determination of your Worships touching the
said Appeal

And Your Petitioners shall ever Pray Etc
