MIDDLESEX .


AT the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and the County of Middlesex , at
the Session House for the said County, ()
on Monday the TenthDay of July in
theThirty seventhYear of the Reign of our Sovereign
Lord GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, Etc. Before
William Mainwaring< no role > William Bleamire< no role > , Nathaniel
Conant
< no role > , William Knox< no role >
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said Lord the
King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County.

Whereas Thomas Orton< no role > of No.9 Phoenix Street in the parish of
Christ Church in the County of Middlesex Weaver Did at the General quarter
session of the Peace held in and for the County in the Month of April last Exhibit
his Petition and Appeal setting forth That He was on the Fifteenth day of March
last convicted before Daniel Williams< no role > Esquire Rice Davies< no role > Esqr. and The Reverend
Henry Reynett< no role > D.D. three of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said county
for having in his dwelling House situdte at no.9 Phoenix Street aforsaid a
quantity of unwrought Silk suspected to have been purloined and embezzled not
having given any Account how he came by the same: whereby the petitioner
conceived himself aggrieved which said Appeal stood duly adjourned until this
Session Now upon hearing the said appeal and what hath been alledged by
the respective parties their counsel and Witnesses in and concerning the premises
It is Ordered that the said Conviction be and the same is thereby Quashed
