the Peace for the County of Middlesex at the
General Quarter Sessions of the Peace of our
Lord the King holden for the said County

The Humble Petition and Appeal
of Thomas Orton< no role > of No. 9 Phoenix
Street in the Parish of Christ Church
in the County of Middlesex Weaver

Sheweth

That your Petitioner was on the Fifteenth
day of March last Convicted before Daniel Williams< no role >
Esqure Rice Davies< no role > Esquire and the Reversed Henry
Reynett
< no role > D. D. three of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the said County for having in his Dwelling
house situate at No. 9 Phoenix Street aforesaid a
Quantity of unwrought Silk suspected to have been
purloined and embezzled not having given any Account
how your Petitioner came by the same

That your Petitioner Conceives himself
aggrieved by the said Conviction

Your Petitioner therefore Appeals
from the said Conviction and humbly
prays that your Worships will be
pleased to appoint a day in this
present Sessions to hear and determine
the said Appeal
