To the Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex in their General Quarter
Session of the Peace assembled.

The Humble Petition and appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Mary le Strand in the
Liberty of Westminster and County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a pass Warrant of Order of Removal under the
Hands and Seals of Nathaniel Conant< no role > and John Scott< no role > Esquires two of this
Majesty Justices of the Peace for the said County of Middlesex ( one of
then being of the Quorum) bearing date the nineteenth day of October
1796 Sarah Greaves< no role > wife of William Greaves< no role > (absont from her) and her two
Children by ger said Husband (Vizt) Margaret< no role > aged five years and
upwards and Matthew< no role > aged one Year and upwards were removed
and conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint Giles in the fields in the
County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint Mary le Strand in the said
and her said two Children

That your Petitioners concerning themselves aggrieved by the said
Warrant or October of the said two Justices do himself appeal to your
Worships there from and pray that the benefit of this appeal
may be saved to your Petitioner untill the next General Session of
the Peace to be holden for this County and that your Worships
will be pleased to order that the hearing of the said Appeal be
adjourned untill the said next General Session of the Peace and
that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Giles in the fields and all Persons concerned
do attend the Court of the said next General Session of the Peace
tobe holden for this County some day in the said Sessions to
hear and abide the Judgment and determination of the same
Court touching the said appeal

And Your Petitioners shall ever pray &c.
