Middlesex


At the General Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King holden in and for the County of
Middlesex at the Session house for the said
County (by Adjournment) on Thursday the
Twelfth day of May in the Thirty sixth year
of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the
Third King of Great Britain Etc

Whereas William Whittington< no role > and George Foreman< no role > two of the
Inhabitants of his Majestys Royal Palace or Fortress of the Town
of London have at this present Session Exhibited their petition
and Appeal Setting forth that by Virtue of a Warrant or Order
of Removal under the hands and Seals of Thomas Barnard< no role >
Esquire and Henry Reynett< no role > Do Do two of his Majesties Justices
of the Peace Acting in and for the said County of Middlesex
(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the 20th day of April
now last past Mary Ann Warner< no role > Widow of George Warner< no role >
deceased was removed from the Hamlet of Mile End Old Town
in the Parsih of Saint Dunstan Stepney in the County of Middx
and delivered to the petitioners as Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Peter ad Vincula in the Liberty of the Tower of
London that being the place of her Settlement whereby the
petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved Whereupon
at the request of the said Petitioners It is Ordered that the benefit
of their said Appeal should be saved unto them and the hearing and
Determining thereof be and the same is hereby adjourned until the
next General Quarter Session of the peace to be holden for this county
and on Notice hereof in the Mean time to be Given unto the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the said Hamlet of Mile End Old Town they
and all persons Concerned do attend the Court at the Session house
aforesaid on Thursday the Twenty third day of June next at the hour
of nine in the forenoon of the same day to hear and abide the Judjment
and determination of the said Court touching the said Appeal
