To the Right Worshipful His
Majesty's Justices of the Peace in
and for the County of Middlesex
in their General Quarter Session
of the Peace assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of Robert Pearce< no role > of
the New Road in the Parish of Saint Mary le Bow in
the said County Stone mason.

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order of Filiation or
Maintenance under the Hands and Seals of John Scott< no role > and
Nathaniel Conant< no role > Esquires two of His Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex (one whereof is of the Quorum)
bearing date the 16th. day of June instant, Your Petitioner is
Ordered to Pay to the Church Wardens and Overseers of the
Parish of Saint Pancras or to some or one of them the sum
of £2.18..- for and towards the lying in of one Sarah
Bidder
< no role > Singlewoman of a Male Bastard Child with which
she was delivered on the 12th day of April last at the
Workhouse in the said Parish and for the Maintenance of
the said Bastard Child to the time of making the said Order

That your Petitioner by the said Order of Filiation
or Maintenance is also ordered to pay to the said Church=
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint
Pancras for the Time being or to some or one of them the
sum of Two shillings weekly and every Week from that time
for and towards the keeping sustentation and Maintenance
of the said Bastard Child for and during so long time
as the said Bastard Child shall be Chargeable to the said
Parish of Saint Pancras .

That Your Petitioner conceives himself
aggreived by the said Order of the said
